Minnie – 120 lbs. of Nothin But Love!!
Absolutely love this girl!! After missing a week at the shelter, when I arrived on Saturday morning, I was surprised with a lot of new furry faces. It’s always bittersweet to meet the newbies, because I love them all, but I know they are there due to unfortunate circumstances. However, they do know at the shelter how exciting it is for me to meet a new furfriend and Minnie was no exception.
Telling me only her name, Victoria ran to the back and when she returned I was so surprised that “Minnie” was not so mini!! A mix between a lab and a great dane, she is one absolutely gorgeous dog. Only around 8-9 months old, “Minnie” is over 100 lbs, but 100+lbs of nothin but love.
She was found as a stray in Lowell and it’s really hard to believe someone is not looking for her. She has a beautiful black coat and walks like a champ, stayed by my side the entire time. She does sit and she did lay down, but that may have been because she felt it was break time. Playful and loving is Minnie and to take her back in hurt my heart.
Minnie is one of those dogs that sells herself, but not to write about her would be a crime. Come visit Minnie, she will steal your heart…
