Petco Expo Success!!
Although I missed my friends at the shelter this weekend, I took a little trip down the way with LCAC to the Petco Adoption Expo. It was a great opportunity to get the word out about Lake County and hopefully send some sweethearts home forever (which we did twice)!!
The four who joined us on our mission were Willow’s little ones (male and female), Jellybean the darling Chihuahua mix and dear Sam the cat. With the weather cooperating very nicely (finally) we were able to show them all off and soon met some really great people.
After only a short time, Willow’s little girl went home with a wonderful woman who at the very end already made a best friend and I don’t think was ever gonna put her down 😉 Good Luck sweet girl. Annnd Jellybean found a family. She knew exactly who to cheese it up with too…the seven year old little boy. Although, after a lot of licking and petting, Jellybean snuggled and wiggled her way into the entire family’s hearts. Good Luck Jellybean!!
So that leaves one more puppy, and for this post I’m gonna call him “Gunner”, because a possible adopter named him before she left on Saturday and hopefully she’ll be back for him soon, and Mr. Sam the cat. I was able to spend a couple of hours with these guys and little Gunner is the absolute sweetest boy. He loved to play and loved to cuddle, he was calm and sweet and soo adorable, come see him before he’s gone, once you meet him, you won’t be able to resist. Also, don’t forget the coolest cat, Sam: sweet, patient and just looking for someone to love him.
