S-A-N-D-Y and Sandy is Her Name
I can’t even imagine how hard it must be to go from Shelter to Home and then back to Shelter after years of having a family. Poor Sandy doesn’t have to imagine, it’s her reality, and this weekend the kids and I had the pleasure of meeting her.
About 6 years old and absolutely beautiful, she was sweet as pie, great with my kids and I think she would love to play if someone would engage. Sandy is definitely a mix breed with distinctive Shepherd and everyone knows how I feel about Shepherd mixes What is sad, is that the only reason she is back after some years, is because her owner had health issues.
Just like all the others, she does not belong at the shelter and she would make a great addition to any family (she tolerated my son, which sometimes is a challenge for even me ;)) If you and your kids wish you could have a dog, but you don’t have the time to train a puppy and your kids are either too small or “kids” to help, please come see Sandy, you will not be disappointed and she will love you for it!!
